SHALANDA N. SMITH
Shalanda Smith is the Founder and President of Women Evolving, Inc. which is a 501 c 3 Non-Profit Organization that was founded on July 19, 2018.
Before starting her own non-profit organization, Shalanda has spent the last 22 years working for various companies, including non-profit agencies: Child Care Association of Brevard County and Early Learning Coalition of Brevard County, where she provided childcare assistance for low-income families. This is where she began to realize that her passion is in helping other people; disadvantage women and mothers to be more specific. Fortunately, Shalanda was blessed to be raised in a two parent household with both her Mother and Father who were very present throughout her childhood.
Shalanda realizes that although she was raised in a loving and positive environment, which has contributed to the woman she is today, there are also many women and young girls that were not as fortunate. This is why she created an organization that focuses on empowering, inspiring and educating women and girls on strategies to achieve new levels of success. She would like women and young girls to know that you do not have to become a product of your environment. You can break the cycle with the necessary tools and guidance that will help you reach your full potential.
